CORE 3.2.0 Update

Today we released an update to the WysiwygPro 3 CORE script. Version 3.2.0 contains some new features, APIs and bug fixes.

If you received a copy of this update to resolve a support issue prior to 23 November 2009 please download the official release. The version you would have received does not contain all the bug fixes and new features of the final version.

New Features

  • Added the defaultImageView property for setting whether the image manager should default to list or thumbnail view (set to 'list' for list view) Read more >
  • Added a new plugin 'repeatingRegions' that allows you to create repeating regions similar to Dreamweaver. See a demo > Read more >
  • Added maxImageDisplayWidth, maxImageDisplayHeight, maxMediaDisplayWidth, maxMediaDisplayHeight properties. Read more >
  • Added the START keyword to the htmlVersion property for allowing the start attribute on lists when using a strict doctype
  • Added insertHTML option to the context menu
  • Added a new JavaScript API method WPro.deleteAll() for removing all editors from the page

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where object or embed tags with unquoted attribute values would loose those attributes
  • Fixed an issue with context menus in Safari 4
  • Fixed an issue with spelling suggestions
  • Fixed an issue where some formatting options did not work in Safari
  • Fixed an issue with link previews displaying too small in IE 8
  • Fixed an issue in IE 8 where editing a link with no target attribute would add a target value of 'null'
  • Fixed an issue with linking to .com.xx domains
  • Fixed an issue where menus where wrongly positioned if displaying the editor within a scrollable element
  • Fixed compatibility issues with some 3rd party Ajax libraries including JQuery. Read more >
  • Fixed broken alphabetical ordering of color palettes on the color picker dialog
  • Fixed an issue where the paste from external source feature did not remove headers when pasting from MS Office into Firefox on OS X
  • Improved remembering of previously used colors, special characters and words
