Or any browser based upon Mozilla/Gecko 1.4 +

Support for Safari was added in version 3.1

What happens if I use an unsupported browser?
A regular textarea will be displayed instead so you can still edit content the old fashioned way.

What about Opera?
Opera is NOT currently supported. Support for this browser is under active development and can be enabled for testing purposes through the developer API.

The WysiwygPro file browser (that can be used outside of WysiwygPro) should work in any modern browser including Opera 9 and above.

 

Server Requirements:

  • PHP 4.2.0 or newer

    Most web servers are equipped with newer versions than this.

    The following PHP modules and settings are recommended for full compatibility, however the editor will still run if these are missing or set up differently on your server:

    • File uploads should be enabled to allow users to upload files using the file manager.
    • XML support
    • GD Image Support
    • cURL support
       
  • Any server that can run PHP including Apache and Microsoft IIS.
